After 8:00 PM in autumn and winter, outdoor glass walls "sweat" from condensation, and the ball skids off the glass as if it were covered in soap.

When searching for indoor padel courts in Valencia, I clearly separate two categories. On one side, we have Real Indoor clubs built inside fully enclosed industrial warehouses (solid insulated walls and high roofs). On the other side, there are Tented Indoors, which are essentially outdoor courts covered with a canvas or tent structure.

This structural difference completely shapes your playing experience: summers in Valencia are brutal, and temperatures inside an indoor club can reach 40°C (104°F)—a heat sensation that becomes even more intense under a canvas tent.

1. Elite 22 Padel Indoor (Paterna - Fuente del Jarro)

Let's start with the club I chose as my home base for coaching, and it's no coincidence. Strategically located in Fuente del Jarro (Paterna), less than a 10-minute drive from Valencia city, La Eliana, San Antonio de Benagéber, Bétera, Godella, Rocafort, and Burjassot (with free parking right at the door), Elite 22 is a real indoor facility featuring 6 panoramic courts.

What I value most from a technical standpoint is its exceptionally high ceilings (you can hit high defensive lobs without worrying about beams), glare-free LED lighting, and the incredible cross-ventilation of the building. While the locker rooms and bar area are simple and functional, it does the job perfectly. For me, it is the go-to reference to play in July and August when Valencia hits nearly 40°C: obviously it's warm because it's summer, but that natural cross-breeze saves the match.

2. Family Sport Center (Beniparrell)

Although it's located a bit further south down the V-31 highway, for me it is one of the absolute benchmarks in Valencia. It is a massive, super cool real indoor club: it boasts a huge number of courts, very good locker rooms, an outdoor football pitch, and a top-tier cafeteria. Furthermore, after the DANA storm they carried out a major renovation and even added a small bowling alley inside, making it a fantastic spot to hang out after your match.

A very important technical detail for the summer months is that they have evaporative cooling. While it's not full air conditioning, it definitely helps take the edge off the heat inside the warehouse.

My insider booking tip: For me, it clearly has two "tiers" of courts. The center court is amazing, and courts 1 through 9 offer excellent quality and great ceiling height. However, from court 10 to 24, the roof structure has beams running across the middle, losing quite a bit of clearance height—which penalizes you if you like playing high lobs.

3. Calderona Wellness, Bétera ("Country Club" across from Escorpión Golf Club)

Located in Bétera, right across from the Escorpión Golf Club, Calderona Wellness is the next level if you're looking for a comprehensive "country club" style complex. It's a super cool facility featuring around 9 covered courts and 5 or 6 outdoor courts with great clearance height, alongside a top gym, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, a great restaurant, and high-end locker rooms.

The weak point: Their covered courts are covered by a tented canopy, not an enclosed warehouse. For me this is crucial, because under a tent it gets extremely hot in summer, cold in winter, and sometimes humidity seeps in, making the glass slippery. Also, I'm not a fan of walking out of the covered court area sweating and having to walk outdoors to reach the locker rooms.

4. BamVolea SportCity (Massanassa - Across from IKEA)

Strategically located in the commercial area of Massanassa, right across from IKEA, BamVolea SportCity (also widely searched as Sport City Massanassa) is a famous macro-club with a huge number of courts—most of them covered with tent structures and a few outdoors. Their social facilities are top-notch: a very good cafeteria with a terrace, pro shop, lots of match activity, and excellent locker rooms.

The technical drawback: It suffers from the exact same issue I mentioned regarding canvas canopies. Although they have installed large fans to force airflow, a strong greenhouse effect builds up under the tents. It protects you very well from the rain, but in summer it is tough to play due to condensation and trapped heat.

5. Bonus Track: X7 Padel (Torrent / Torrente)

Yes, I know I originally promised a TOP 4, but I have to add a fifth club as a bonus because a brand-new facility just opened that deserves a mention: X7 Padel in Torrent (Torrente), very close to Valencia and right in that same southern action zone near Beniparrell.

It is a newly built indoor club featuring 8 courts, inaugurated in August 2026. Structurally it is a basic club, but it shows a lot of promise for one key reason: they also installed evaporative cooling. We are finally starting to see padel clubs in Valencia pay real attention to temperature control. In summer, playing in Valencia is brutal—both outdoors and indoors—as temperatures can easily hit 40°C (104°F) inside an indoor club (and even worse under a tent). Seeing a new club launch with evaporative cooling from day one is a very welcome proposition.

What is X7 Padel Torrent missing right now? Community. At the end of the day, for a padel club to thrive, the social atmosphere is essential: the academy, tournaments, arriving and seeing people playing, a lively cafeteria, and constant movement. Because it was just born—and even though it is backed by a large chain of clubs—right now it feels very empty and lacks that movement, though we imagine this will change over time.
